Job Description :
Our client is seeking a charismatic individual to drive their product and develop a requirement in the market.
The successful incumbent will focus on and drive new business leads and opportunities in the Southern African market space through various Evangelism, Public Relations and Marketing mechanisms.
Will be supported by technical product champion and Marketing division to execute on business development for the product.
Target will be US$ based on new license revenue on an annual basis with deals being owned and closed by the associated account managers.
Job Requirements :
Responsibilities :
• Establish and maintain a compelling vision and strategy for developing new opportunities for the Product in Southern Africa - across the Group.
• Once new product opportunity has been qualified - hand this over to the relevant Account Manager. Market will be open to all regions and all market sectors. Will operate from the Johannesburg office and will work with both Johannesburg and Cape Town sales offices.
• To work closely with Sales Manager, Account Managers, Product Champions and the Marketing division to achieve new business.
• Enhance ability to more effectively take the product to market through the appropriate development and implementation of evangelistic and business development techniques and business intelligence solutions.
Target solution areas to include, inter alia, business intelligence solutions, Reporting Server Solutions & Advanced Analytics.
• Evangelise the products capabilities and provide executive guidance in the innovative introduction of best practices in advanced analytics, reporting servers to drive business performance.
• Establish close ties with international partners around techniques and sales plays for promoting and selling the product.

Experience :
• Min 15 years relevant experience in consulting, IM or IT industry
• Strong business and commercial acumen
• Willingness to travel and must be confident operating at executive level.
• Solution selling, selling business value & ROI

Education :
• Essential - NQF Level 7: Honours/Masters Degree


Salary : R 1 000 000 OTE  Annual
